Acting Governor-Council Leaderships Sign 2025 City Budget Integrity Pact

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono signed the Integrity Pact for Ratification of Draft Regional Regulation on 2025 Regional Budget together with City Council's Leaderships at Plenary Hall Meeting Room.

Right after the signing, Executive and Legislative will immediately discuss the General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for the 2025 City Budget.

City Budget is not just a number in a document, but it is also a reflection of residents' hopes and needs that must be realized well.
"Integrity commitment is important in the process of drafting and ratifying the 2025 City Budget," he said, Tuesday (10/8).
Khoirudin explained that this Integrity Pact will be the moral and ethical foundation in carrying out the people's mandate, while also emphasizing that every step taken will always be based on the principles of transparency, accountability and justice.
The 2025 City Budget, he added, reflects the resident's priority needs ranging from infrastructure, health, education and up to economic empowerment.
"Hard work and commitment are needed to realize better, more just and prosperous Jakarta," he added.
Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, said the agreed KUA-PPAS will be the basis for Regional Government to prepare, submit, and discuss the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the 2025 Fiscal Year City Budget. Achieving regional development goals need KUA and PPAS documents as the basis for preparing City Budget which breaks down the priorities, allocations, and fund sources.
"High integrity and commitment from all parties involved are needed to prepare and manage the budget," Heru said.
Heru signed the Integrity Pact for the Ratification of the Draft Regional Regulation on the Jakarta Provincial Budget for the 2025 Fiscal Year after obtaining a score of 97.35 percent from the KPK in 2023.
Heru explained that Jakarta Provincial Government, City Council and the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will continue to commit in preventing corruption and realizing accountability and good governance.
The Integrity Pact underlines the commitment to prioritizing public interests, transparency and accountability, efficient and effective management, and compliance with regulations and public participation as the preparation of the KUA PPAS.
For seven consecutive years, Jakarta Provincial Government has proven it by obtaining Unqualified Opinion (WTP) predicate from the BPK and achieve the Integrated Corruption Prevention Program/Monitoring Control for Prevention (MCP). The amount of 2025 City Budget KUA-PPAS is Rp 84.328 trillion.
"It is hoped the Integrity Pact signing can be a good first step in planning and implementing 2025 City Budget," Heru stated.
